Material:

  • 1 large piece of ginger
  • 2 lemongrass stalks
  • 200 grams of brown sugar
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1000 ml water

How to make ginger drink

  • Burn the ginger with the skin until it is completely cooked, then wash it thoroughly until there are no more charred skins.
  • After that, geprek the roasted ginger that has been cleaned and also the lemon grass.
  • Prepare a hot pot, then add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, ginger, lemongrass, and one liter of water.
  • Cook until all the ingredients and sugar have dissolved into the water and you can smell the sweet aroma, about 20 minutes. Cover the pot for maximum results.
  • If all the ingredients have dissolved and the water has boiled, turn off the stove and strain the water from the remaining pulp
