Restaurant-style scallop recipe
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 8 large scallops, cleaned
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp pistachio nuts, peeled Western Food
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh scallions
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon (can substitute parsley, oregano, or basil)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- Kosher salt or table salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil as needed
How to make restaurant-style scallops
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter until melted. Indonesian Food
- Add pistachios, cook for 2 minutes until fully toasted. Remove and cool. Chop the pistachio nuts.
- Put the nuts in a small bowl. Mix in the scallions, tarragon, and thyme.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and oil in a Teflon skillet over high heat.
